Where these numbers come from

Las Vegas has two terminals. Terminal 1 serves the A, B, C and D gates and has a 6,000-space garage, and Terminal 3 serves the D and E gates and handles international airlines and select domestic carriers. On July 1, 2026 the airport raised every parking price by $1 to $2, which it described as its first adjustment in more than seven years. The announcement came June 22.

The numbers: Short Term parking costs $4 for the first hour, $8 for the second, then $5 per additional hour up to $38 a day. That means 3 hours is $13, 5 hours is $23, and 8 hours hits $38. Long Term costs $12 for the first two hours plus $4 per hour, capped at $20, so the cap arrives at 4 hours. Economy and Remote cost $6 for two hours plus $2 per hour, capped at $14 at 6 hours.

Weekly costs are easy. Economy or Remote for seven days is 7 x $14 = $98. Long Term is 7 x $20 = $140. Short Term is 7 x $38 = $266. The difference between Short Term and Economy is $168 for a week and $336 for two weeks. Before the change the same Economy week cost 7 x $12 = $84, so the rise is $14 per week.

Reservations are the most interesting option. Terminal 1 reserved spaces are $30 a day, and Terminal 3 is $23. A Terminal 3 Long Term special costs $16 on Saturday to Wednesday and $20 on Thursday to Friday, reservation required. A week in the Terminal 3 special at $16 is 7 x $16 = $112, only $14 more than Economy, and you park at the terminal instead of riding a shuttle. The exact daily rate depends on the arrival day.

Valet is a flat $34 a day, operated by ABM. A seven-day trip costs 7 x $34 = $238, which is $28 less than Short Term parking and $77 more than a week of Terminal 3 reserved parking. The Remote Lot has free shuttles to and from the terminals, and the airport keeps a free Cell Phone Lot for pickup drivers. Maximum stay is 30 days.

If you are choosing between a rideshare and the car, a round trip at $60 in your app (example) equals about 4 days of Economy. Anything longer favors your own car only if you have one. Test it in the airport parking on-site vs off-site calculator. For comparison see Los Angeles and Denver.
