Where these numbers come from

Charlotte is a single-terminal hub, so the parking choice is mostly about which deck or lot you want. The airport raised prices on March 1, 2026, and the prior adjustment was in November 2023. The biggest move was the Daily Deck, up $8 from $20 to $28. Express Deck Self-Park rose $4 to $24, Daily North rose $4 to $18, and the Long Term lots rose $2 to $14.

Here is what a week costs now. The Hourly Deck at $35 a day is 7 x $35 = $245, the Daily Decks at $28 are 7 x $28 = $196, and Express Deck at $24 is 7 x $24 = $168. Daily North at $18 is $126 and Long Term at $14 is $98. Valet at $50 is $350. The gap between Daily Decks and Long Term is $98 over a week, and $196 over two weeks.

Compare with before the increase. A week in the Daily Decks used to cost 7 x $20 = $140. It is now $196, an increase of $56. A week in Express Deck Self-Park was 7 x $20 = $140 and is now $168, up $28. Long Term rose from 7 x $12 = $84 to 7 x $14 = $98, up $14. So the lowest-price lots saw the smallest rise.

The Hourly Deck is priced differently: free for the first 15 minutes, then $8 per hour on the first day, up to a $35 daily maximum. It sits on levels 4 to 7 of the deck connected to the terminal by bridges and walkways. A three-hour stop would cost about $24 by that formula. Several lots, including Long Term Lot 1 and Express Deck Self-Park, are listed as online-booking products, so plan to reserve.

Booking rules help with planning. The airport says you can reserve up to six months ahead, same-day bookings may be limited, and a two-hour grace period applies before and after your scheduled times. Valet must be booked at least three hours ahead. Long Term shuttles run 24 hours a day every 10 to 15 minutes. A free cell phone lot is available for pickups.

As an alternative, a $70 round-trip rideshare (an example figure) equals 5 days of Long Term at $14, so a short trip can favor the ride, and a week favors the lot. The airport parking on-site vs off-site calculator lets you enter your own numbers. See also Atlanta for another Southeast hub.
