Where these numbers come from

Nashville prices its lots per day: $24 in Economy Lots B and C, $36 in Terminal Garages 1 and 2, and $48 for valet. The tiers are $12 apart, which makes arithmetic simple. Terminal Lot A closed on July 1, 2026 to make room for a new rental car facility and parking garage, so the surface parking closest to the terminal is gone.

For a three-day trip, Economy costs $72, the garages $108 and valet $144. A week costs $168, $252 and $336. Two weeks costs $336, $504 and $672. The garages therefore cost $84 more than Economy per week, and valet adds another $84 on top of the garages.

Short stays in the Terminal Garages follow their own ladder: free up to 30 minutes, then $18 for 30 to 60 minutes. That $18 for the first hour is steep compared with the daily $36, so a pickup that takes 45 minutes costs half of a full day. The free cell phone lot at 1415 Murfreesboro Pike has 240 spaces and is the cheaper way to wait for a passenger.

Since July 1, 2026 the airport has gone cashless for parking. Travelers with cash can load it onto prepaid cards at machines on the Departures and Arrivals levels. Economy shuttles run every 10 minutes. The Terminal Garages are covered, with Park Assist guidance and pay-on-foot kiosks.

Plan around the closure of Lot A. Any older guide that quotes a terminal surface lot no longer applies, because the airport now lists only the garages, Economy and valet, and pickups are best handled in the free cell phone lot. A traveler who used Lot A previously must now pick between $36 covered parking or $24 with a shuttle, a $12 daily difference that adds up to $84 on a week-long trip.

This page lists no hourly rate for Economy and no separate daily maximum, so those fields stay empty here. No verified off-site operator rate was found. Use the airport parking on-site vs off-site calculator to see where an outside lot might break even. For comparison, BWI Long Term is $11 and Tampa Economy caps at $22.
