Where these numbers come from

Indianapolis publishes a clean price ladder: $9, $14, $23 and $32 per day. We read the airport's parking page on 2026-09-30. It lists no weekly rate, daily maximum beyond those daily figures, or effective date, so the trip costs below are straight multiplication. The airport also notes that it does not take parking reservations, so every spot is first come, first served.

A week in the Economy Lot costs 7 x $9 = $63. Park & Walk is 7 x $14 = $98, the Terminal Garage is 7 x $23 = $161, and valet is 7 x $32 = $224. Over 14 days: $126, $196, $322 and $448. Choosing economy over the garage saves $98 on a week and $196 on two weeks. Moving from Park & Walk to the garage costs an extra $9 a day.

Hourly parking is $2 per half hour, which works out to $4 per hour. Six hours of hourly parking would total 12 x $2 = $24, already $1 above the $23 daily garage rate. Because the page does not state a cap, plan on the daily rate for anything longer than about five and a half hours. A short meeting-and-return day trip is where hourly parking makes sense.

Here is a mixed example. Say you leave a car for 3 days and 4 hours in the garage. Three full days is 3 x $23 = $69, and 4 hours at $4 per hour is $16, for $85 if the hourly rate applies to the partial day. The Economy Lot for the same stay would be roughly 4 x $9 = $36 if a partial day bills as a full day, a difference near $49. Confirm partial-day billing at the gate before you plan around it.

Economy shuttles run around the clock, arriving every 5 to 7 minutes from shelters, with a typical ride of about 15 minutes plus a 5-minute walk. Budget 20 to 25 minutes from parking to the terminal, compared with a walk of a few minutes from the garage. The page does not say whether the shuttle is free, so we leave that field unset.

For an independent comparison, use the airport parking on-site vs off-site calculator. Nearby options in the region are Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, which also charges $23 in its garage, and Columbus.
