Where these numbers come from

Juneau is the stop where cruise budgets tend to grow. The town is easy to reach on foot, so getting around costs almost nothing. The money goes to what people come for: a glacier, whales, or a helicopter. Tourism officials describe downtown as very walkable, with a waterfront path that ties the docks to the shops and parks.
