Where these numbers come from

CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, and its real cost depends on how much of the paid menu you choose. The free side is large: seven beaches are open to all guests, the freshwater Oasis Lagoon and the Splashaway Bay play area cost nothing, and several grills and snack huts serve lunch without a bill. A family can spend the whole day and pay nothing beyond drinks.

Arrival is simple. Ships dock at a pier, so you walk off rather than ride a tender. Royal Caribbean Blog describes about 15 minutes at a relaxed pace to reach the far side, and a tram runs as well. There is no town, no taxi and no local currency to handle. Purchases are charged to your onboard account, and an older price guide notes that drink packages are accepted on the island.

Royal Caribbean uses demand-based pricing, so any fixed list is a sample. Summer 2026 pre-cruise examples show Thrill Waterpark at $104 per person, the balloon ride at $78.99, the zipline at $62.99 and Hideaway Beach at $55.99. Coco Beach Club is the top single ticket at $229.99. A separate June 2026 study of 19 ships found the waterpark pass between $49 and $189, usually near $72 to $74, and on sale most of the time.

Worked example, family of four. Four waterpark passes at $104 cost $416. Add one cabana at $1,449 and the day reaches $1,865, or $466 per person. Skip the cabana and the bill is $416. Skip the waterpark too and stay on the free beaches and the cost is $0, although you may still want to buy a drink package or a souvenir.

Worked example, two adults. Hideaway Beach at $55.99 each is $111.98. Add the balloon ride at $78.99 each and the total is $269.96. That is the cost of a quiet adults-only beach plus one signature attraction. Because prices move by sailing date, buying before you sail through the cruise line's planner usually shows the exact figure for your ship.
