Where these numbers come from

Prices shown in US dollars. Check current exchange rates. Vancouver quotes its parking in Canadian dollars, so we converted once using the Bank of Canada rate for 2026-09-29, which was 1.4188 Canadian dollars per U.S. dollar. The figures on this page are static estimates, and your card will use the rate on the day you pay.

The operator of the Canada Place parkade lists cruise parking at C$25 to C$30 per day, subject to seasonal rates. That converts to about US$17.62 to US$21.15. The lot is open around the clock, sits below the terminal, and uses a Howe Street entrance. The operator page shows no effective date, so treat the range as the figure on our check date.

Here is a worked example. A seven-day stay at the low rate is 7 x C$25 = C$175, or about US$123.33. At the high rate it is 7 x C$30 = C$210, about US$148.01. We do not know how the operator counts partial days, so ask before you assume seven rather than eight billed days. One tourism guide puts the garage at C$25 to C$35 a day, which shows how much seasonal rates can move.

Other choices exist. The same tourism guide lists downtown public lots at C$25 to C$40 a day and off-site lots with a free shuttle at C$15 to C$25. Off-site lots are cheaper on paper, but you add shuttle waits at both ends of the trip. The parkade is first come, first served, so peak sailings can fill.

Airport access is easy without a car. One guide puts Vancouver International about 9 miles from Canada Place and recommends the Canada Line, which runs to Waterfront Station near the terminal. We found no sourced drive time, so the data for this page leaves drive minutes blank. Fly in the day before if you can.

Canada Place serves many lines, including Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. To set the parking bill against other trip costs, enter it in the cruise parking calculator or the cruise cost calculator. For a US port with a flat fee see Port Canaveral.
